United StatesI purchased 4 Valentino Luxe Egyptian Cotton Spa Towels expecting a product similar to towels I had used recently in an upscale hotel, which provided a thicker towel that helped absorb the water from my long hair, allowing it to dry faster. The towels arrived promptly and appeared to be what I was looking for, but after washing and drying according to the instructions, I was surprised to see a washcloth-sized layer of lint in my dryer lint filter that included several tangles of thread that had come loose from the towels (I've never had an issue doing laundry and have a late-model washer and dryer, so this was not operator error). The towels were also still covered with lint, so I dried them further which resulted in another thick layer of lint and shook them out prior to using. Disappointingly, when I used the towels on my hair, they was no more absorbent than the towels I already own.
